Obedience Training
Wild River Kennels focuses on making dogs the best version of themselves. We want to help create a well-balanced state of mind that is calm and understanding. Dogs will board with us, and we will do all of the training. By providing education, balance, and structure to their lives, we see a dog without anxieties or destructive behavior.
We look to provide corrections when we see an unwanted behavior BUT also reward with motivators. Leash manners will focus on providing the baseline communication of all the foundational commands. If you are looking to further your dog’s education, we also offer off-leash training. By having a reliable recall, you have endless opportunities to explore the world with your canine companion.
Once your dog completes their training with us, we want to help train you! We take pride in collaborating with our clients to help “train” them and teaching them how to be successful at home.
Nervous dog? No problem! We offer behavior modification training. Consultation required prior to ANY board/train for behavioral issues.
At this time, we cannot facilitate ANY dogs with a bite history. We can refer you to specialized trainers that can help you.

Obedience Private Lessons
Work alongside our team to help problem solve behaviors or learn how to properly train your dog. Private lessons can be daily, weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly depending on goals. Lessons will be at our facility or at your home. We service all New England along with New York for lessons.
Different rates will be provided depending on the location of the lesson.
